Chip Foose

In a relatively short career, Chip Foose has created a legacy of designs and accomplishments well beyond his years. He was already an accomplished designer when he started Foose Design in 1998, and a year after, he became the youngest custom builder inducted into the Hot Rod Hall of Fame. Raised in his father's business, automobiles were definitely in his blood. Throughout the course of Chip's career he has many accomplishments and opportunities to be proud of, including wining the Ridler multiple times, being inducted into the Grand National Roadster Hall of Fame and working on several T.V. shows like Rides, Overhaulin and American Icon. This Southern California native has repeatedly won every prestigious award in his industry and is still going strong.

Classic Quote:  "In the hot rod world, you're building somebody's dream car. Then when they get it, they're going to enjoy it for years and years. I'll go to a show today, and I'll see people that I built cars for twenty, twenty five, thirty years ago and they still have that car. They love that car. They're enjoying it. That's where I say it's a lifestyle. Not only are you building a car, but you're building a friendship and this family of friends and you get to share it for years and years and years. That's what I really love about this." – Chip Foose [courtesy of Petrolicious]
